Pre-round activities tips
Before you do your tests, you spend days, months even years to study and prepare. Before you go on a trip, you search for information of the place you are heading to and then prepare all the necessary things like foods, clothes etc. It is the same for a golf game, you also need to do some preparation which we call as the pre-round work. This is not something you do after a long break and now you come back and you prepare for it. This is something you have to do usually before all the games and whenever you play you have to get through them.
This work is not to prepare your equipments but to prepare yourselves for the game. It makes your body familiar with the motions and review all the skills you need for the games. Therefore you can forget the clothes, gloves, shoes and clubs but to focus on the skills of your body parts.
When you step the first steps in the golf field and start to play the games. The first things to do is to do some warming up because golf is also a sport like other sports. Before playing any sport, you need to prepare your body and your muscles and these are to help them do some practices and also help avoid accidents and injuries. For golf you can start with your arms and your hands. The stretching will help your arms flexible and able to make the full swings. Your shoulders are also a part of these warming up activities and you should do these activities carefully. Your back and your legs are also included in these activities so that they can work well with your arms and your shoulders. They need to work well with each other if you want to make perfect swings.
After warming up and prepare for your body, you can move to the next step of your pre-round activities which is the technical preparation. You can start with some iron shots and make a nearly full swings. For these shots, you do not need to worry about the final scores because the purpose of these shots and swings is to make you familiar with the clubs and the environment around you. All you need to do is to combine the motions of all your body parts include you back, legs, arms, face and hands in each swing. Moreover, you also need to pay more attention to the balance of your body and all the parts. The balance assures the steady of your swings and the strength of the shots, help your ball to go far. The contact between your eyes and the ball, your hands with the club handles are also vital in deciding if you are doing the right pre-round activities. All these preparations are not optional but compulsory because they allows you to get familiar with the course and the motions that you may not do often. Because of these motions you can easily avoid serious accidents and injuries.
The end of the pre-round activities is to know what kind of game and competitor you are playing with so that you can come up with the most suitable strategies and focus on the necessary skills and techniques. The course and game management is also a kind of preparation that you should practise when you have the opportunities.
