Practising chipping with a sign without chipping
Sometimes when you are at a golf field, you may see a lot of people there. It is true especially in a sunny beautiful day like last Saturday. I went to my regular golf field and found some big groups there practising their skills and shots. Then I noticed one guy who was struggling with this chipping and that was when I realize that I have never shared with you about how to do a good chipping. I went to the man and asked him if he want to share some information and experience in practising the shots.
He agreed and we talked for the rest of the afternoon. It was a very good opportunity for me and the man to get to know more about chipping and we found out the best way to complete the chip without losing the score.
Why to use it?
The secret of the chipping is the no chipping sign which can also be used as a part of the chipping practise. Not many people knows about this and this is why there are still many people out there who are struggling with this shot. Some may question that what the no chipping sign can do to improve the chippings. If you are having that question in your mind then this is the answer. Because when you do the chipping and you aim at the hole, in most of the time, the ball will not go straight to the hole. This is something for professionals like Tiger Wood to do. But I bet that they fail many times as well. It is just something you count on for luck and there is no luck that comes all the time. You should not rely on your luck if you want to be a really good golf player.
The weird tip
When you practise with the no chipping sign, all you do is to aim your ball over the sign so that when you hit the ball, it will go over the sign and then roll back to the hole. This sounds like a kind of luck but you can definitely make it come true. There is nothing that can stop you from doing this and it is easier than you can imagine. There is no reason for not trying this for your next chipping session.
I met the man the other day when I was with my golf players fellow. We had a talk and he reminded me of the idea we came up with at the session about using no chipping sign to practise chipping. He and I both agreed that the no chipping sign is a very good tool that add power to our chipping. We both see improvement in our practise and our chipping. I am now so confident with my chipping that I would recommend it to anyone I know. You may want to try this next time and you will also see the improvement in your chipping by using this small tip.
